Escape City began with five friends who played an escape room and instantly fell in love with the experience. In 2014, we opened Escape City with one goal: to push the boundaries of what escape rooms could be and create world-class adventures right here in Western Canada.
Today, we’ve hosted more than 350,000 adventures and welcomed hundreds of organizations for unforgettable team-building events. Our team has grown, our ideas have evolved, and we’re continuing to build innovative new experiences as we expand into new markets.

1. Choose your adventure
Every Escape City room begins with a story. Each one has a unique mission, theme, and atmosphere—so pick the adventure that fits your group best. Before long, you’ll find yourselves searching for pirate treasure, escaping a creepy cabin in the woods, infiltrating a mysterious corporation, or diving into something entirely unexpected.
2. Step inside the story
Our rooms are crafted by carpenters, engineers, film and theatre professionals, and game designers. When you walk through the door, the world shifts—movie-quality sets, original soundscapes, and tactile environments pull you right into the heart of the narrative.
3. Become the heroes
We’ll start you off with a quick briefing and a clear objective. From there, it’s all about working together to bring the story to life. And if you ever want a nudge, our game hosts are always watching and ready to help.
