At Escape City we bring stories to life.
When your group enters one of our escape rooms you’ll be greeted with a video and cued up with a mission. Then it’s up to you to work together to find clues, solve puzzles, and complete the adventure before time runs out.
Our games are real, and you play in immersive environments designed by film and theatre professionals. It’s social, it’s challenging, and most importantly, it’s fun.

Not really. All of our rooms are designed so that you can always exit the experience by going back out the door that you came in through, so you will be able to leave the room at anytime if you need to take a break to use the washroom or get some air.
Most of our escape rooms accommodate groups of up to 8 people, there are a couple that can accommodate more, and a few that have minimum group sizes. This information is available on the specific room pages, but we recommend reaching out to us so we can guide you towards the experience that might fit best for your group.
If you have a group that is larger than 16, we’d recommend planning through our “parties” events page. We can split your group between multiple experiences and make sure that everybody starts at the same time.
The length of the game depends on the room you book. You can also expect to tack on 15 minutes for check in and a pre-game brief ahead of time, and then 10 minutes for photos and a post-game debrief afterwards.
Nope! All of our experiences are private experiences, we don’t pair groups together.
At Escape City we believe it’s important to provide something for everyone. Some of our games have mature themes and are recommended for those 16 and older, while other adventures are designed for the whole family to enjoy. We recommend reaching out prior to booking.
At Escape City we include a variety of different types of puzzles, which use different skills and capacities so everyone will be able to contribute. Ensuring you have a great experience is the most important thing to us, so if our staff sees a group struggling and getting really frustrated, they will help push you in the right direction.
Our escape rooms will have your team practicing a number of skills crucial to the modern workplace: attention to detail, communication, delegation, and critical thinking. More importantly, your team will practice these skills in an engaging environment that fosters teamwork and is fun for everyone. We sure do! The birthday boy or girl plays for free when they book during their birthday week (3 days before your birthday to 3 days after) with at least 3 other players. Just book any room, and show valid ID upon arrival. Not valid in combination with any other offers.
